ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE COURSES
We offer Beginner and Intermediate English classes in person. If you need online or Advanced classes, please contact Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC).
Fall ESL classes will begin August 29, 2022.
Daytime classes meet Monday to Thursday, 9:00-11:30 am.
Evening classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-8:45 pm.
All of our classes are FREE and books cost $20. We have free parking at McDowell School and free child care.
ESL Level 1
This is a very beginning level class that teaches students to listen, speak, read, and write in English.

Continue to RegisterCITIZENSHIP PREPARATION COURSES
Citizenship Preparation will begin August 31, 2022 and finish November 30, 2022.
This class is designed for people who can speak, read and write in English and are ready to apply for naturalization. To apply, you need to have your green card for at least 5 years (or a minimum of 3 years if you are married to a U.S. citizen).
The class is on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm, at McDowell School. Free parking and free child care are available.

Please note, only the following people can do the Citizenship interview in their native language:
-If you are 50-54 years old and have had a green card for 20 years or more, OR
-you are 55 or older and have had a green card for 15 years or more.

Citizenship Preparation
Learn about the application for naturalization process and prepare for your USCIS interview. You will study U.S. History and Government, practice speaking and writing and build your confidence and skills to pass your USCIS interview.
